Harvey Weinstein’s Lawyers Want Criminal Case Tossed Because of “Police Misconduct”

The Harvey Weinstein saga has taken quite the turn on Monday. In the latest news, Harvey Weinstein’s lawyers are making a new attempt to get the New York sexual assault case against him dismissed. His lawyers stated in a court filing that his indictment was “irreparably tainted by police misconduct,”.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office hasn’t immediately responded.

Since the district attorney has yet to respond, there is no real word as to what the outcome of this will be, especially the backlash that will come if the case is dismissed.
