Grey’s Anatomy Slips On Thursday Night At ABC

Grey’s Anatomy led scripted programming as usual on Thursday night last week but the long-running series fell to a season-low. It should be noted that Thursday was Halloween so a lot of shows that happened to be down last Thursday, should rebound this week

On ABC, Grey’s Anatomy topped the night’s scripted shows, despite scoring only a season-low 1.1 rating in adults 18-49, down two-tenths from its 1.3 from its last airing. The series scored 5.69 million total viewers for the night. A Million Little Things similarly fell back down from its previous 0.9 to a 0.7 demo rating and 4.14 million viewers while How to Get Away with Murder (0.4, 2.23 million viewers) capped off the night for the network, also down a tenth week-to-week.

On NBC, Superstore took its first hit of the season so far, slipping from a 0.8 to its first 0.7 of the fall with 3.14 million total viewers tuning in. The Good Place was also down a tenth from its last airing to a 0.6 demo rating and 2.21 million viewers. The rest of the NBC lineup saw improvements with Perfect Harmony (0.5, 2.39 million viewers), Will & Grace (0.6, 2.63 million viewers) & Law Order: SVU (0.7, 3.98 million viewers) all rising a tenth week-to-week.

On Fox, the Thursday Night Football game was, unsurprisingly, the night’s top broadcast. The network’s broadcast of the San Francisco vs. Arizona game averaged a 2.8 rating and 10.19 million viewers, on par with how last week’s game performed.

CBS aired repeats for the night while The CW aired Halloween specials instead of regular programming.
