HBO has released a full trailer for the highly anticipated final season of Game of Thrones and its goal is to break the internet if Game of Thrones fans have anything to say about it.
The trailer teases the epic final battle every fan of the show has been waiting for. The trailer opens with Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) running for her life and we also see armies preparing for battle with Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) staring in amazement as dragons soar above her.
The trailer also teases that the Lannister’s might be momentarily abandoning their treacherous ways and joining the fray. We also see other fan favorites in the trailer such as Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) & Jon Snow (Kit Harrington).
The final season is said to present itself like “six movies” rather than six episodes of television. To offset the shorter season, each installment will run 90 minutes instead of the usual 60.
The final season of Game of Thrones premieres on April 14 on HBO.
