Friends From College Canceled After Two Seasons At Netflix

Netflix has expelled one of its original series. It has been announced that Friends From College has been canceled after two seasons.

Show co-creator, Nicholas Stoller, took to Twitter to announce about the show’s demise. Netflix then released a statement of its own about the news and thanked the cast and crew for their hard work during the series’ two season run.

Friends From College premiered July 14, 2017, and wasn’t greeted with the best of reviews. Despite this, Netflix renewed the comedy series for an eight-episode second season just a month after its premiere on the streaming service.  The comedy’s all-star ensemble included Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage, and Jae Suh Park. The six of them portray friends from Harvard who have interwoven and oftentimes complicated relationships with one another as they face down their 40s while living in New York City.
