While Marvel has previously unveiled looks at The Wasp concept art for the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp, Evangeline Lilly has offered a first look at the actress as Hope van Dyne suited up.
Lilly tweeted out the photo of what appears to be Hope in a classroom in honor of what would have been Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday today, saying
“I am honoured to be on set today playing #TheWasp on what would be Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday.”
Prior to this news, multiple casting announcements for the film were made at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, including that Michelle Pfeiffer will star as Hope’s mother Janet van Dyne. Laurence Fishburne will also star as Dr. Bill Foster, who, in Marvel comics, is the heir to the Giant-Man mantle.
