First he was in. Then it seemed like he was out but now but it has been announced that Matt Reeves has officially closed a deal to direct The Batman.

When negotiations broke down last week it was also stated that a deal could still happen if talks continued and it looks like those talks took a better turn which has led to him signing on the dotted line.

I’m hoping for the best but these behind the scenes mishaps with the new DC films is a bit disheartening. I want to feel like they have it together and hopefully this bit of good news can continue for the rest of the DC  Universe.
