First Look and Reactions to Venom

After overwhelming disappointment over the first trailer of Venom for failure to reveal Tom Hardy in the suit, the first image of Venom has been released. The short clip, which appears to show Hardy’s Eddie Brock being taken over by the symbiote to take down a criminal, also reveals that the movie will retain a familiar idea from the comics: Venom refers to the merged human/symbiote as “we.”

Now that the footage has finally emerged of the famous antihero, the reactions have begun to take over social media. As of now, reactions are mixed, as some fans claim the character looks exactly as he should while others claim the character inherently looks silly, resulting in a goofy on-screen representation.

I, for one thinks he looks great and the reveal adds anticipation to the upcoming film. Venom will be released this October.
