According to Variety‘s Justin Kroll, the first script draft is ready for Warner Bros. planned standalone Joker film. The script is still set to show Joker’s origins in an early 80’s Gotham City. Does this mean that the Todd Philips’ penned script will be finalized soon enough to allow for a 2018 film shoot? We’ll have to wait to find out.
