The final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been released and the Harry Potter spin-off is ready to cast its spell once again.
Johnny Depp’s powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald returns, despite being captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) at the end of the first film, this time warning his followers to “join me or die”.
After Grindelwald escaped custody he set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Dumbledore enlists his former student Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
Also joining the magic is Jude Law, who plays Albus Dumbledore, Zoë Kravitz, who plays Leta Lestrange, Ezra Miller (Credence) and new cast member Claudia Kim (the Maledictus). David Yates is also at the helm once again.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits screens on November 16.
