Ethan Hawke Lands Villain Role On Marvel’s Moon Knight

Moon Knight has found its villain. It has been announced that Ethan Hawke has joined the cast as the main villain of the series.

What’s unclear is which villain Hawke will play. The main villain in Moon Knight has largely been Bushman, a mercenary who turned on Mr. Knight over Egyptian gold. Much like the casting of May Calamawy, who joined the cast in an undisclosed role, it’s all being kept very hush-hush. Moon Knight is expected to begin shooting in March in Budapest.

Oscar Isaac will be the titular character of the series also known as Marc Spector, a mercenary who has numerous alter egos that help him fight crime. The most notable of these egos are cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant. Eventually, he’s established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, the character was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.
