We are only a few days away from the premiere of the third season of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs as the upcoming season will be making its premiere on the Shudder this Friday, April 16th, at 9pm Eastern.
Last Friday, Joe Bob teased that
“a very special super-nerd filmmaker will be joining me via satellite so we can geek out together on two horror classics”
That guest is none other than director Eli Roth. Roth’s directing credits include Cabin Fever, Hostel, and The Green Inferno, which is why Joe Bob says he has “destroyed tourism on three continents”.
In The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs,
Briggs, the world’s foremost drive-in movie critic, presents an eclectic horror movie double feature, interrupting the films to expound upon their merits, histories, and significance to genre cinema. The Last Drive-In premieres on Shudder’s live feed before being made available on demand; proving that an SVOD service can create appointment television, the show’s hashtag, #TheLastDriveIn, has trended in the top 10 on Twitter in the US during the premiere of every episode and special, often reaching number one.
