Disney Talking Pirates Of The Caribbean Reboot With Deadpool Writers

A year after what was thought to be the final installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Disney is looking to reboot the franchise. Disney has recently met with the writing team of Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick to possibly pencil the script. Reese & Wernick are best known for writing first two Deadpool films, Zombieland and its sequel.

While not much is known at the time, Jerry Bruckheimer will continue to serve as producer on Pirates of the Caribbean, but at this point there is no word as to whether or not Johnny Depp will be involved in the potential reboot.
