Disney Meeting With James Gunn For Possible Rehiring

The James Gunn fiasco has taken Hollywood by storm. Fans have taken sides and many feel that Gunn has been unfairly fired from his job as director of the Guardians of the Galaxy. On Monday, the cast spoke out in defense of Gunn and Disney may hearing their voice.

There is a rumor that Disney is meeting with director James Gunn about potentially rehiring him for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

A recent report claimed Disney isn’t rushing to replace Gunn, which seemed to indicate the company was contemplating rehiring the writer-director. Now, a new rumor points to the Mouse House taking the next step toward reinstating Gunn. The DisInsider editor-in-chief Skyler Shuler tweeted that sources say Disney is meeting with Gunn to discuss potentially rehiring the director.

Time will tell if the rehiring of Gunn will actually take place, however, this is a good sign that the tides may be turning.
