Dick Van Dyke Confirmed for Mary Poppins Sequel

The Hollywood Reporter recently featured a story, “Creative Until You Die” focused on famous stars who have refused to retire, even in their 90’s.  Dick Van Dyke confirmed in the piece that he will appear in Mary Poppins Returns, the upcoming sequel to the 1964 classic starring Julie Andrews and Van Dyke.

“This one supposedly takes place 20 years later and the kids are all grown up,” the 91-year-old actor said. “It’s a great cast, Meryl Streep, Angela Lansbury and that guy [Lin-Manuel Miranda] from Hamilton.”
