In what looks to be the final trailer for Deadpool 2 before its release next month, the true highlight is the battle of wits between our favorite “Merc with a mouth” and Josh Brolin’s new addition, Cable.
“You’re not fucking hero,” spouts off Cable, after plunging a knife into Deadpool’s shoulder. “You’re just a clown dressed up as a sex toy.”
Doesn’t look like the sequel has lost the sense of humor that made the original a worldwide hit.
The new trailer also showcases the pack and the emergence of the X-Force with Zazie Beets‘ Domino, Terry Crews‘ Bedlam and Lewis Tan‘s Shatterstar. There’s also Rob Delaney‘s hired killer Peter, and a long-haired T.J. Miller helping Deadpool as “some sort of superhero human resources guy.”
