FXX has handed out a season 2 renewal to their comedy series Dave, starring Dave Burd.
Dave is based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd (stage name Lil Dicky) and centers on a neurotic man in his late twenties who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends because, with their help, he actually might convince the world he actually is.
Dave has proven to be a breakout hit for FXX, growing an average episodic audience of 5.32 million total viewers-to-date across linear, VOD, and streaming. The series has become FX Networks’ most-watched comedy series ever, taking the crown from Atlanta, which averaged 5.2 million total viewers. The show also stars Taylor Misiak, Andrew Santino, GaTa, Travis Bennett, and Christine Ko with notable guest stars including Justin Bieber, Young Thug, Trippie Redd, and Kourtney Kardashian
