If you checked out season 2 of Iron Fist over the weekend, you received a nice little teaser for the third season of Daredevil. The teaser has now been made available online and while it doesn’t reveal much, it should stir up anticipation for the Marvel series.
The teaser features a bloodied and battered Matt/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) in a confessional where his anger is clear and he says he’s ready to retire his alter ego and say goodbye to the lawyer:
“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law. And in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the truth is I’d rather die as the devil than live as Matt Murdock.”
Daredevil is heading to New York Comic Con and is expected to offer a sneak peek of Season 3 to those in attendance. A Season 3 premiere date is expected in the next weeks and may be announced at NYCC.
