Dan Stevens Joins Harrison Ford In Upcoming The Call of the Wild

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Stevens will join Harrison Ford in Fox’s upcoming film, The Call of the Wild. The film is based on Jack London’s novel of the same name. The film version will focus on a sled dog that survives the Alaskan wilderness, as well as a series of abusive owners.

Harrison Ford is set to play Jack Thornton, a prospector looking for gold in the Yukon. In his first live action film, animation director Chris Sanders will be helming the film which will incorporate major CG elements.

The Call of the Wild will be released in December of 2019.
