We all know that “Goonies Never Say Die” but apparently they also say no to sequels. Corey Feldman, who starred in 1985’s The Goonies as Mouth, says that sequel talks are apparently very much dead.

TMZ caught up with Feldman In New York and asked him if we would get continued adventures with the Goonies gang and he told photographers “There ain’t no damn ‘Goonies’ reunion!!!” Childhood dreams officially crushed.

Feldman said that sequel talks have always been merely rumors and they were sparked up again by him getting together with his Goonies co-star Sean Astin at NostaltiaCon last month.

Hopes of a Goonies sequel seemed like a realistic possibility in the past. Director Richard Donner had teased like he’d like something to happen during an appearance at Fan Expo Boston earlier this year. Feldman and Astin pitched Donner an idea for a sequel, which was well-received, but Donner ultimately decided it was way more expensive than the idea he had in mind.

I guess we’ll have to settle for our 1985 memories of the Truffle Shuffle and put this one to bed.
