Coming Soon: The Meg

In an era where films like Sharknado exists, it is no surprise that the shark film has once again become popular. With that being said, the first trailer for the upcoming Jason Statham shark action movie, The Meg has been released and the film seems to be taking place in a deep-sea research station that strongly resembles a space station. The tone of the film will be going in the serious direction.

The Meg is directed by Jon Turteltaub, who is responsible for directing National Treasure, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

The Meg will be released this August.
