The trailer for Wes Anderson’s newest film, The French Dispatch, has dropped. The film is set to bring to life a collection of stories from the final issue of an American magazine published in a fictional 20th-century French city. According to Fox Searchlight, it’s “a love letter to journalists.”
As always, he has a star-studded cast – Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray, and Owen Wilson. Robert Yeoma, Anderson’s longtime cinematographer, returns to shoot the film with a score by Alexandre Desplat.
The French Dispatch premieres on July 24th with a possible world premiere at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
