The Ottoman Lieutenant is an upcoming World War I drama starring Michiel Huisman as a lieutenant in the Ottoman Empire who falls in love with an American nurse played by Hera Hilmar. Written by Jeff Stockwell and directed by Joseph Ruben, the film also stars Josh Hartnett and Sir Ben Kingsley.
It was originally released for a limited run in order to qualify for the Oscars in December and will see a wide release this year on March 10th.
