Focus Features has released the first trailer for director Joe Wright’s upcoming historical drama Darkest Hour. The script was written by Anthony McCarten (The Theory of Everything), and stars a totally unrecognizable Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill who should be in live for a deserving Oscar nomination. The film begins on the eve of World War II, looking at Churchill’s difficult job to get England to stand up to Nazi Germany and enter the war rather than negotiate a treaty.
