Coming Soon: Christopher Robin

After last years Goodbye Christopher Robin’s disappointing performance both critically and commercially, Disney is taking a crack at it and has released the new teaser trailer at Disney’s Christopher Robin, the live-action adventure featuring the characters created by A.A. Milne.

The film will be directed by Marc Foster and  follows Christopher Robin, who as a young boy used to go on adventures with his lovable stuffed animals. Now, similar to Steven Speilberg’s Hook , Robin as a grown man, he has lost his way.

While Foster will be directing the film, the screenplay is written by Alex Ross Perry and Allison Schroeder. Christopher Robin stars Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin; Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Keith Winslow, Robin’s boss. Providing the voices for Milne’s lovable characters are Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh; Chris O’Dowd as Tigger; Brad Garrett as Eeyore; Toby Jones as Owl; Nick Mohammed as Piglet; Peter Capaldi as Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.
