A trailer for the movie version of CHiPs premiered during Jimmy Kimmel Live and it looks like it’s going to retain the light-hearted action comedy vibe of the show on which it is based.

The film follows two middle-aged Los Angeles motorcycle cops who are tasked with highway patrol soon find themselves in a situation like none other when a sadistic ex-cop & his motor vehicle theft hitmenare wreaking havoc throughout their city. The film stars Michael Pena, Dax Shepard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Adam Brody, and Kristen Bell.

CHiPS is set for a March 24 release.
