Are you ready to play with an old friend? USA Network & Syfy have released the first teaser trailer for Chucky & it’s set to follow the original timeline of the Child’s Play films.
The news was revealed by franchise creator Don Mancini on Instagram. In the new Chucky television series, after a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Chucky will have no relation to the Child’s Play reboot that was released last summer & the show will be airing on both the USA Network & Syfy. The show is set to arrive in 2021!
