It looks like we’re going to get to see some witty banter between Star-Lord & Thor. It has been announced that Chris Pratt will be bringing his Guardians of the Galaxy character to the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder.
“The Hollywood Reporter” was the first to break the news & revealed that shooting on the fourth film doesn’t start until January. Pratt just wrapped on Jurassic World: Dominion & also has reshoots lined up for his upcoming sci-fi movie The Tomorrow War. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to shoot in Australia. Hemsworth’s Thor was last seen with the Guardians aboard Star-Lord’s ship in Avengers: Endgame so it makes sense for Pratt to appear. No word on how big the role is or if that other Guardians’ crew will show up but, it’s a start.
The Thor: Love and Thunder cast is starting to stack up nicely. In addition to Pratt, the film will be led by Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, returning as Jane Foster and the new female Thor, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale, who is reportedly playing the villain of the film. Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi who first stepped behind the camera for the MCU with Thor: Ragnarok.
