Casting Begins for Upcoming Halloween Sequel

On the week that one of the most anticipated horror films will be released – It, news of next year’s Halloween has been released. Paranormal Activity 3 and Modern Family’s Chloe Csengary has auditioned for the role of Allyson in the upcoming film. While there is no word on whether or not this will be a lead role, it is great news to see that the film has begun its casting.

Halloween 2018 has been working under the title, Nightblade with filming scheduled to commence next month, as confirmed by Danny McBride. Director of the original 1978 classic, John Carpenter will produce the film, along with Blumhouse.

The sequel to the film will be set after the events of Halloween II, meaning that all the events of the 1981 film will be erased from its original continuity. David Gordon Green will direct and co-write the film with Danny McBride.

Halloween hits theaters next year.
