A new round ofBig Brother: Celebrity Edition is upon us and CBS has announced the “celebrities” that will try to outlast each other in the Big Brother house.
In alphabetical order, the cast includes: Jonathan Bennett, Tamar Braxton, Kandi Burruss, Tom Green, Lolo Jones, Kato Kaelin, Joey Lawrence, Ryan Lochte, Dina Lohan, Natalie Eva Marie, Anthony Scaramucci and Ricky Williams. Julie Chen is also returning to host and will mark her first CBS gig since she departed the network’s The Talk after husband Les Moonves exited as the network’s corporate boss under a cloud of sexual abuse allegations.
Similar to the regular Big Brother, Celebrity Edition follows a group living together in a house outfitted with more than 80 video cameras and 100 microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. None of the houseguests will have contact with the outside world. The last guest to avoid being voted out of the house will get the grand prize of $250,000. Marissa Jaret Winokur, known for her lead role in Broadway’s Hairspray, won the inaugural edition of Big Brother: Celebrity Edition last winter.
Big Brother: Celebrity Edition will have a two-night premiere starting January 21 and run for three weeks, with the two-hour finale slated for February 13.
