A Million Little Things Ties Series High In Thursday Night Move On ABC

A Million Little Things shifted to a new night last night and it looks like the move was a smart decision.

On ABC, airing behind the returning Grey’s Anatomy, A Million Little Things tied its season high among adults 18-49 with a 1.1 rating, equaling the number for its series premiere. Its 5.25 million total viewers were a series high. Grey’s Anatomy also tied its season high in the 18-49 demo with a 1.9 and 7.03 million viewers. How to Get Away with Murder returned with a 0.7 demo rating and 2.84 million viewers, off slightly from its last episode in November.

On NBC, shows were down from 8-10 p.m., as The Titan Games (1.3, -0.3, 4.86 million viewers), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9, -0.3, 2.84 million viewers) and The Good Place (0.8, -0.1, 2.55 million viewers) all dipped week to week. Law & Order: SVU improved a bit on its last episode to 0.9 demo score and 4.22 million viewers, a four-episode high.

On CBS, all of their comedies declined a bit week to week, although The Big Bang Theory (2.3 in 18-49, 13.18 million viewers) was still the night’s No. 1 show across the board. Young Sheldon (1.7, 11.40 million viewers) and Fam (1.0, 6.02 million viewers) each slipped by 0.2, and Mom (1.3, 8.54 million viewers) fell 0.1.

On FOX, Gotham and The Orville (0.7 each) both held steady. Gotham saw 2.42 million viewers while The Orville hit 2.98 million viewers.

On The CW, Supernatural returned from its hiatus with a 0.4 demo rating and 1.44 million viewers, matching its last episode in December.
