Bumblebee (Teaser Trailer)

A prequel film no one asked for has its first teaser trailer. Paramount Pictures has dropped the official teaser trailer for Bumblebee, the first spinoff of its Transformers franchise. The film will be directed by the Kubo And The Two Strings head, Travis Knight. Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena star in the origins story. Suprisingly, the teaser does add a sense of cursorily towards the film as it looks like it will be going in a different direction outside of the original franchise and focus on the relationship between human and robot and eliminate the Michael Bayness to the film.

Bumblebee is set in 1987, where Bumblebee in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Steinfeld) discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When she revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary VW bug.
