Beverly Hills, 90210 Series With Original Cast Being Shopped To Various Networks

Sweet 90s nostalgia could be returning to our TV screens. Hit 1990s teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210 is trying to stage a comeback with a reboot featuring a number of the original cast members being pitched to broadcast and streaming networks with multiple buyers interested.

So far the original cast members game for it are Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green & Gabrielle Carteris. The scripted project from CBS TV studios will not be a traditional reboot & is coming from the writers & producers of the CW 90210 reboot that had some of the original cast in supporting roles but mostly focused on a set of new teen characters.

The original 90210 ran on Fox from 1990-2000 and was hugely successful for the network. The show spawned a successful spinoff in Melrose Place which ran 7 seasons & a not so successful spinoff called Models, Inc which lasted only one season. The rebooted 90210 on The CW ran for five seasons & ended in 2013.
