Ben Affleck Joins The Cast Of The Harry Houdini Biopic

Academy Award winner Ben Affleck has joined the cast of Disney’s upcoming Harry Houdini biopic, however, the Oscar winner will not be playing the legendary escape artist. According to a report by SlashFilm, Affleck will play “a supporting character who is some kind of agent” and may travel in the same circles as Houdini.

The upcoming biopic is based on William Kalush and Larry Sloman’s book The Secret Life of Houdini: The Making of America’s First Superhero. The film will be directed by by 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg.
