American Crime Story Season Four to Tackle Monica Lewinsky Scandal

In an interview with E! News, Ryan Murphy confirmed that the fourth season of his anthology series, American Crime Story would focus on the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Sarah Paulson is also attached to star, but no confirmation on who she would play and that we shouldn’t expect it to be Hillary Clinton.

The show would be based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book, A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down A President and details the Lewinsky sex scandal that led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.

Production is currently underway on Season 2 and 3 of American Crime Story. Two will focus on Hurricane Katrina and three on the 1997 assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace.
