1917 (Official Trailer)

The trailer for Sam Mendes’ latest film, 1917, has been released and it looks like one intense experience that captures the claustrophobic and savage nature of WWI.

Here is the official synopsis of the film:

At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soliders, Blake’s own brother among them.

1917 also stars Richard Madden, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, & Colin Firth. It serves as Sam Mendes’ first film since directing the Bond film Spectre in 2015.

1917 opens in limited release on December 25 and wide on January 10, 2020.
