Twentieth Century Fox has released a third and final trailer for its latest X-Men installment, which is an adaptation of one the comics’ most famous storylines, centering on the transformation of telepath Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) into the titular villain.
The latest trailer showcases Jean’s metamorphosis into the Phoenix after she absorbs a cosmic force during a rescue mission with the X-Men in space. Once she returns to Earth, Jean begins to battle the evil presence within her.
I know this is a very polarizing film, even before anyone has seen it. I also know that some fans just want to get this over with so Disney can wipe the slate clean & do what they need to do with the X-Men but I like this cast & the X-Men property is probably my favorite so I’m remaining optimistic.
