WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair To Star In Walking Tall Remake

17 years ago, Walking Tall received a remake starring former WWE superstar, Dwayne The Rock Johnson. The film was one of the early roles of the megastar’s career and 17 years later, another remake is on the way with another wrestler in the lead role.

As first reported by Deadline, a new remake is in development for USA Network from Battlestar Galactica producer David Eick with WWE star Charlotte Flair, daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, slated to star. Charlotte Flair will play a

“Tucson cop who finds herself caught in a web of fraud, exploitation, and murder, and is forced to go full vigilante to protect her home town from falling victim to modern corruption.”
