WWE Smackdown Continues Its Friday Dominance At Fox

WWE Smackdown continued to lead Friday nights which gave Fox another demo win across all the networks for the night.

On Fox, WWE Smackdown stayed on top of the night’s demo rankings with a 0.9, rising a tenth from a week ago, while averaging a 2.62 million viewer audience across its 2-hour runtime. This demo win allowed Fox to win the night, something it has down for the last few weeks on Friday nights.

On CBS, Hawaii Five-O (0.7, 7.13 million viewers), Magnum P.I. (0.6, 6.69 million viewers), and Blue Bloods (0.6, 7.36 million viewers) maintained the same demo ratings as their last outings. Blue Bloods also pulled in the night’s largest audience (7.36 million viewers).

On NBC, The Blacklist scored the same 0.6 demo rating in adults 18-49 as its previous episode with 4.19 million viewers tuning in. To its credit, The Blacklist has been a very steady performer for NBC on the night.

On ABC, a special broadcast of the premiere episode of the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, a new Disney+ series, scored a 0.4 demo rating and 2.03 million viewers, a figure that should bode well for its streaming debut which began yesterday on the platform. The series already earned an early second season renewal.

On The CW, Charmed took a small hit week-to-week, falling from its previous episode’s 0.2 demo rating to its first 0.1 demo score of the season with 580,000 viewers tuning in. Dynasty, meanwhile, stayed even with another 0.1 demo score and 350,000 viewers.
