Wrong Turn (Official Trailer)

The Wrong Turn franchise continues on with a seventh installment but this time we’re getting a “reimagining” simply titled, Wrong Turn.

The film stars Charlotte Vega, Adain Bradley, Bill Sage, Emma Dumont, Dylan McTee, Daisy Head, Tim DeZarn, and Matthew Modine and finds Vega playing Jen, a young woman that sets out to hike the Appalachian Trail with a group of friends. Despite all the warnings to stick to the trail, the hikers go off course and cross into a land inhabited by The Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life.

The film, directed by Mike P. Henson and written by franchise creator Alan B. McElroy, will premiere in theaters for one night only on January 26, 2021. Tickets for the premiere event will be at Fathom Events and at movie theater box offices starting on January 8, 2021. The Wrong Turn film series began in 2003 in a film led by Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Eliza Dushku. The film wasn’t a massive hit theatrically but it went on to gain a sizable cult following when it became available on DVD. This allowed the franchise to get five sequels and now this “reimagining.”
