Wedding Crashers 2 Is In The Works At New Line, Writers Hired

Over the weekend Isla Fisher revealed that New Line was developing a sequel to Wedding Crashers during a Nov. 18 interview on the Today show while she was discussing her role in Tom Ford’s drama Nocturnal Animals. I thought it was just wishful thinking on her part but there appears to be truth to the story.

New Line is actually in early development of a sequel to the 2005 hit film and has tapped the Fist Fight team of Evan Susser and Van Robichaux to write the script. Keep in mind this is still very early so no deals for the sequel have been made with stars Vaughn, Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper or Will Ferrell, nor with director David Dobkin.
