Disney+ used the Emmy Awards on ABC to release the first trailer for WandaVision, which is set to be the first series from Marvel Studios that will air exclusively on the streaming service later this year.
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) & Vision & the series will be a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it will find our two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives that may not be as it seems. The series also stars Kat Dennings, Randall Park, & Kathryn Hahn & the events of WandaVision will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
WandaVision was originally going to premiere in 2021 but will now launch later this year alongside another MCU series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Other upcoming Marvel originals include Ms. Marvel, Loki, Moon Knight & She-Hulk.
