Vanessa Kirby Returning For Mission: Impossible Sequels

The upcoming Mission: Impossible sequels are bringing back a familiar face. In an interview with “Glamour Magazine UK”, actress Vanessa Kirby, who played Alanna Mitsopolis/White Widow is the previous film, announced that she will be returning for Mission: Impossible 7 & Mission: Impossible 8.

Kirby recently wrapped filming on the drama Pieces of a Woman and said now that she’s free from that project, she will soon be undergoing training for the Mission: Impossible sequels. Here is what she said in her latest interview:

“I just wrappped filming a movie about a couple who lose a baby with Shia LaBeouf who is now one of my best friends, I love him so much. It was extremely intense and very dark so going into training for Mission: Impossible is slightly going to release it all.”

Kirby joins returning cast members Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Henry Czerny along with newcomers Hayley Atwell, Shea Whighman, Pom Klementieff, & Nicholas Hoult. Writer/director Christopher McQuarrie, who helmed the critically acclaimed and financially lucrative previous two installments, returns to direct.

Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 are set to hit screens in 2021 and 2022 respectively
