Universal To Remake Nicole Kidman’s The Others

While iconic horror franchises have made the rounds of the remake, the latest remake attempt is quite surprising. As first reported by Deadline, Universal Pictures and Sentient Entertainment have partnered to produce a remake of Nicole Kidman’s The Others.

While there is not much detail regarding how much of the film will be remade, Deadline reported that studio executives are meeting with writers to adapt the script right now. While the film received solid reviews upon its initial release, I personally did not feel there was enough passion for the film that would warrant a remake.
