Tyler Perry has signed on to play General Colin Powell in director Adam McKay’s upcoming biopic about former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. Powell is best known for being a four-star general in the George W. Bush administration having served as Secretary of State.
Perry will costar alongside Christian Bale, who plays Cheney, Amy Adams as his wife Lynne, Sam Rockwell as George W. Bush and Steve Carell as Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
