After inviting a record 683 people to join its ranks, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the schedule of key dates leading up the 2017 Oscars:
Saturday, November 12: Governors Awards
Thursday, January 5: Nominations voting opens
Friday, January 13: Nominations voting closes
Tuesday, January 24: Oscar Nominations Announcement
Monday, February 6: Oscar Nominees Luncheon
Saturday, February 11: Scientific and Technical Awards
Monday, February 13: Finals voting opens
Tuesday, February 21: Finals voting closes
ABC will air the 89th Oscars live on Sunday, February 26th from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
