NBC saw The Voice come down to a season-low for Tuesday airings while Fox continues to enjoy a solid run from the World Series.
On NBC, The Voice fell to a season-low 1.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, down a tenth from its rating last Tuesday, but still raked in the largest audience (7.84 million viewers) of any of the night’s non-sports broadcasts. This is Us followed The Voice by a hitting a season-low rating of its own, falling from its previous 1.6 to a 1.4 demo rating with 6.76 million viewers. New Amsterdam ended the night for NBC with a 0.8 demo score and 5.16 million viewers, also down a tenth week-to-week.
On Fox, the network stayed on top of the night with Game 6 of this year’s World Series averaging a 4.1 rating and 16.43 million viewers, making it the highest-rated and most-watched game of the series so far this year.
On The CW, The Flash (0.5, 1.48 million viewers) and Arrow (0.3, 760,000 viewers) each matched their ratings from a week ago, quite the feat considering competition from the World Series.
On ABC, The Conners returned from a week off with a 1.2 rating, up one-tenth from its last episode, and scored its biggest audience of the season so far (6.03 million viewers). Bless This Mess (0.8, 3.85 million viewers), black-ish (0.8, 2.92 million viewers) & Mixed-ish (0.8, 3.10 million viewers) were up from their last airings while Emergence (0.5, 2.60 million viewers) stayed even.
CBS aired repeats for the night
Recapping Tuesday night ratings, I think NBC was affected the most by the World Series with some of the downticks for its lineup but the other networks held up nicely, particularly ABC which is seeing some nice numbers from its comedy lineup for the night.
