The Space Between Us takes audiences on an interplanetary adventure all while telling the story of Gardner Elliott (Asa Butterfield), a boy who was born and raised on Mars. At 16, he gets the curiosity bug and begins to wonder who his father is and what Earth is like. After building a relationship with an online friend, he sets off on a journey to Earth.
