Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere in the U.K. a day earlier than its U.S. premiere on Friday, December 15th. The U.K. will be able to see the film on Thursday, December 14th.
Hopefully, the earlier date doesn’t spoil it for us across the pond in the U.S. Moving up the premiere date was a precedent begun by Marvel and across Disney to aid in early buzz for a film.
