A sequel to The Gallows that no one really asked for is on its way and we have the first trailer that brings The Hangman back to life in The Gallows: Act II.
The Gallows really didn’t make a splash critically and even on a financial front it was lacking but it was so cheaply made that it actually turned a profit. The film had a $100,000 production budget and went on to gross $22.7 million at the domestic box office and $42.9 million worldwide.
The sequel is skipping a theatrical release and going straight to VOD. The film picks up where the last left off with a new set of students being haunted by the wicked Hangman.
The Gallows: Act II hits VOD just in time for Halloween on October 25.
