The Flash (Season 6 Comic-Con Trailer)

The Flash premiered its first look at season 6 during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con and it introduced us to who will be the big bad for the new season.

The new season features Sendhil Ramamurthy as the DC Comics villain Bloodwork, aka Ramsey Rosso. Ramamurthy’s Dr. Ramsey Rosso is a brilliant physician with a genius intellect and the world’s leading expert on hematological oncology.

A former colleague of S.T.A.R. Labs’ Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Rosso rekindles their friendship after they are reunited by an unexpected event. But their longtime bond is quickly shattered when the doctor’s desire to defy the laws of nature takes him down a dark path…one that transforms Rosso from an old friend into the most chilling villain Team Flash has ever faced: the monstrous Bloodwork.

If Ramamurthy looks familiar, you may recognize him from his starring role on Heroes and Heroes Reborn as Mohinder Suresh. He has also been seen on New Amsterdam, Reverie, Covert Affairs, and The Office.

The footage also teases the impending Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths, which will span episodes of The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Batwoman, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Judging from the comments and hints we got, it will definitely be their biggest crossover yet.

The Flash Season 6 premieres Tuesday, October 8 at 8 PM on The CW.
